Standard spiral wound gasket formatted exactly like Spire, but equipped with an outer ring (used in flanged joints of the splines). The sealing gasket comprises a spirally wound in a letter V-shaped metal strip spirally wound in combination with a soft sealing material filler. Metal band provides excellent resilience, while the flexible filler seal guarantees a perfect seal. With a combination of materials, spiral wound gasket is suitable for seals are subject to large fluctuations in pressure and temperature. Depending on the application, spiral wound gasket can be specified with an external and / or the inner ring.
