Colloidal graphite contains fragmented natural or artificial graphite in colloidal suspension in water or other medium (eg, alcohol, mineral oil), which can add small amounts of other products to stabilize the suspension, such as tannic acid or ammonia. Colloidal graphite is usually found in semi-liquid state and is used mainly for receiving lubricating preparations, or as a very good conductor of electricity. |
